Few months ago we have referred about the smallest automatic gypsum peeling centrifuge in the world, which we have designed. Today we can present this machine in real, during FAT with the client – a municipal waste incineration plant located in Germany. The centrifuge has a basket diameter of 630 mm and a basket height of 400 mm. A special alloyed stainless steel is currently used as the construction material; however, in this case, the customer requested a rubber-coated version.
Generally, the centrifuge serves to remove easily soluble salts by washing and FGD gypsum dewatering to a moisture content of less than 10%.
